28th Annual ACG Orange County Awards - Leading U.S. Power Plant Owner and Operator Receives Top Accolade for Sustainability

ALISO VIEJO, CA (June 01, 2023) - IHI Power Services Corp. (IPSC), a leading owner and operator of power plants across the U.S., has been named this year's "Green/Sustainability Company of the Year" at the 28th annual Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Orange County Awards. IPSC was recognized on Thursday, May 18 during ACG's 2023 Wave of Excellence gala event alongside nine other organizations demonstrating outstanding growth and leadership across their respective categories.

"Being named ACG's Green/Sustainability Company of the Year would not be possible without our dedicated team of 700 energy professionals who go above and beyond to provide value-added services and sustainable operations support to every U.S. power generation facility in our portfolio," said John R. This award was created to honor an environmentally friendly company showcasing excellence through unique products, manufacturing processes or services, or one that stewards long-term employee and customer value through "green strategies" across social, cultural and economic business operations settings.

Significant accomplishments over the past year that led to IPSC's recognition included the company's recent addition of a seven-plant biomass portfolio; the largest battery energy storage system project for remote operations center (ROC) monitoring (Gemini 1.6 GW); three gas turbine ROC plants for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas; a state-of-the-art e-waste recovery plant in Carlsbad, Calif; an MoU for largest wood waste to sustainable aviation fuel project in Louisiana and more.
