Dan Consie

Vice President, Strategic Initiatives


Mr. Consie has 30 years of experience in the power generation industry with skills in business and contract management, engineering, operation and maintenance, and rotating equipment vibration diagnostics and balancing. Mr. Consie has held Plant Engineer, Plant Manager, Asset Manager positions and is currently serving as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for IPSC.

Prior to joining IPSC, Mr. Consie served as Senior VP, Power Services for NAES Corporation. An executive officer position with NAES Corp reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors, Mr. Consie was responsible for leading the Operations & Maintenance services for a fleet of over 180 power generation projects representing approximately 47,000 MW of generating capacity.

Mr. Consie joined NAES Corp from Consolidated Asset Management Services (CAMS) where he was Vice President, Asset Management – Western Region. In this role, Mr. Consie was responsible for full profit and loss, asset management, financial services, energy trading, commercial, project development, due diligence and O&M for a 1,000 MW portfolio of combined cycle & simple cycle gas-fired assets and CFB coal projects.

Mr. Consie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the US Naval Academy.
